Item Description

Released in 2016 as a 40% smaller and more streamlined revision of the original Xbox One, the Xbox One S is a compact home console in a white matte finish featuring an integrated power supply, eliminating the bulky external power brick. It supports High Dynamic Range (HDR) for improved color contrast in games and supports 4K Ultra HD video streaming and Blu-ray playback, although it upscales games rather than rendering them in native 4K. The system was available in 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB models, including an all-digital edition, and it features a re-engineered controller with Bluetooth support and enhanced grip. While superseded by the Xbox Series X/S and discontinued in 2020, the One S remains fully compatible with all Xbox One games and, while it does not have a native Kinect port, it offers improved performance for demanding titles compared to the original, making it a capable media-focused, entry-level console
