Racers are out to become infamous by way of risky driving and the studied evasion of pursuing fuzz. The more cops you evade, the more Speedpoints you get, which allow you to unlock new cars and items. Get busted and you lose everything, however. As a cop, meanwhile, you're out to smash any passing speed freaks to dust, swiping better cars and more powerful "pursuit tech" as you climb the Police Force ranks. There are 11 car gadgets - turbo boosts, jammers and EMPs for racers, and shockwaves, roadblocks, and helicopters for cops. It's Hot Pursuit, isn't it? Hot Pursuit with added razzle-dazzle.
